High-quality, Sustainable Housing Transformation

This housing scheme development required both structural and civil engineering elements to create a robust and sustainable foundation for the planned homes.

The project aimed to transform the brownfield site into a high-quality, sustainable residential community while addressing all necessary infrastructure and environmental considerations.

Our Structural Engineers designed piled foundations to provide the necessary stability for the site, ensuring that the development could support the proposed structures on the brownfield site. Additionally, we developed a sub-structure design tailored to support timber-frame houses and flats, which formed the basis of the residential units on site.

Our Civil Engineers were also responsible for the submission of a comprehensive Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Approval (SAB) application, ensuring that the site’s drainage system would meet the latest environmental standards. This included designing the foul drainage system to manage waste water effectively and efficiently, as well as coordinating the external works, including site access, landscaping, and utilities.
