Enhancing an 18th Century Farmhouse
This project, located in rural Brecon, involved extensive structural alterations and strengthening works as part of the refurbishment of an 18th-century farmhouse.
The single-storey galvanised steel frame rear studio extension wraps around the original property and was designed to be suspended at ground floor level, cantilevering over the edge of the stream. Lightweight insulated walls and metal cladding were used for the elevations to maintain a modern finish.
